The Bank of England’s recent discussion paper ‘Transforming data collection from the UK financial sector’ starts to explore the recommendations raised in the 2019 Future of Finance report around the adoption of new, digital approaches to regulation and specifically data collection. The paper poses a number of questions allowing the UK Financial Community to help guide decisions made for the Bank’s 5 – 10 year plan.
