Under heavy burden from the regulator

LIQREP may not be the LAST bad news for your camel. As the burden from the regulator increases, tactical reporting solutions are creaking.

The conference comprises three main sessions to explore the above question:

Regulatory update presentations and panel looking at the  short/medium-term regulatory issues, particularly liquidity reporting (LIQREP), you are faced with.

Session 1 concludes with a panel discussion / question-time with representatives from financial institutions, alliances and the Lombard Risk REG-Xperts

Guest speakers and panellists

  • Simon Hills, Executive Director – Prudential Regulation & Risk, British Bankers’ Association
  • Alvin Abraham, Chief Executive Officer, Katalysis
  • Gary Manning, Director, and Pete McIntyre, Head of Product FS, Planixs
  • Andy Mason, EMEA Regional Manager, Ambit Treasury & Risk, Capital Markets, SunGard

James PhillipsJames Phillips, Director of Regulatory Strategy at Lombard Risk and guest speakers, will provide a “Regulatory update of EBA/European and PRA/UK regulatory landscape”, covering key elements of LIQREP (AMM, intra-day liquidity and the new LCR) and elements of CRDIV (benchmarking and Pillars 1/2).

A major redesign / overhaul may be needed

Self-evidently it is time to redesign your camel as there is in fact yet more to come as the regulators move on from implementing Basel III and governance requirements

Beyond Basel III: BCBS239, Basel IV and risk data aggregation.

Looking at a “Single view of risk” and the next tranche of regulatory changes in the UK and Europe including: SRDD, SCV, PRA foreign branches reporting, EU MCD impact on UK, tax regulations (FATCA etc), SSM, AnaCredit and transaction reporting.

Guest speakers and panellists

  • Tom Fish, Risk & Prudential Consulting Director, PWC
  • Pradipto Biswas, Senior Manager, Finance & Risk Services, Accenture
  • Ambreesh Khanna, VP Product Management, Financial Services Global Business Unit, Oracle
