A month from now will be too late to start preparing. What's been achieved in 2011 and what's left to do? Looking at REGULATORY REFORM: the new EU system a year on, and the new UK system. COREP, FINREP and LIQREP: consultation on reporting templates and latest developments.
Wednesday 29th February. As the UK’s leading regulatory reporting automation provider, Lombard Risk has repeatedly provided heads-up information about the imminent changes to reporting under Basel III. At this, the fourth in our series of Breakfast briefings, you will have a LAST opportunity to get alongside the issues and to determine the actions you need to take to prepare for European Banking Authority Common Reporting requirements.
On 1st January 2013, Basel III is switched on; firms need to be compliant at that time. From 31st March 2013 onerous new regulatory reporting requirements come into place. Have no doubt that this is a big step up from the FSA’s current reporting requirements: the reports must follow the Common Reporting requirements issued by the European Banking Authority. There are over 100 new schedules in COREP and FINREP, which replace and in some cases run alongside existing FSA IRR reports.
At this conference, Lombard Risk will set out what firms need to be focussed on in the dwindling next 10 months. Remove business as usual work, year-end software freezes, and other time challenges, and it is clear that action is needed right now.
Furthermore, all attendees will receive an Action Pack Takeaway containing:
- Summary of the key changes and requirements
- Key milestones
- Major challenges to be expected and recommended solutions
- Invitation to subscribe to 3 further Lombard Risk events, being invitation-only implementation EBA Common Reporting Focus Groups being held end March, end June and end September 2012.
