FORTIS INVESTMENTS SELECTS COLLINE® FROM LOMBARD RISK TO AUTOMATE COLLATERAL MANAGEMENT

LONDON, United Kingdom. - 16 April, 2008 - Lombard Risk Management PLC, a global leader in risk management and financial compliance, today announced that Fortis Investments furthered their goal of providing innovative and agile investment management solutions with the implementation of automated collateral management. As a result, Fortis Investments is equipped to manage risk and maximise value for both sides of their OTC Derivatives transactions by operating more effectively at a time of rapidly changing trading conditions and increasingly challenging economic conditions.

With over 1600 collateral agreements under management, the collateral desk at Fortis Investments needed a way to simplify the collateralisation process and efficiently expedite the transfer of securities to and from their counterparties.
